Engineering Leader · Identity Architect
Riddhi Mohan Sharma
I've built identity infrastructure for 3.5 million credentialed healthcare professionals — across 12+ acquisitions, across US and EU jurisdictions, on a single governance layer that didn't break when the organisations changed around it.
That is an unusual thing to have done. Most identity work is either compliance-driven and slow, or velocity-driven and brittle. The 12+-acquisition number is the proof that neither has to be true.
I'm now applying the same architecture principles to AI — specifically to the problem of governing AI agents that don't have identities in any conventional sense.

AI Architectures
AI in regulated industries fails when governance is bolted on after deployment. I design it into the architecture before the first model is trained.
Global Identity (SSO/IAM)
3.5M+ credentialed healthcare professionals across US, EU, and international markets — on a single identity layer that doesn't break when jurisdictions disagree.
M&A Integration
12+ acquisitions integrated. Zero custom integration builds. Identity architecture that treats M&A as a repeatable operation, not a one-off crisis.
Standards & Governance
Contributing to IEEE P2933 (Clinical IoT Trust) and cross-body alignment across CSA, NIST, WHO, and the EU AI Act — focused on the identity layer for AI agents operating across sovereign healthcare jurisdictions.
Product Strategy
Engineering that ships features is common. Engineering that moves a revenue line is rare. That's the only version I build.

Ask Me About
- How to turn AI governance from a compliance cost into a shipping velocity advantage — and why most enterprises are building this backwards.
- Why M&A identity integration fails in year two, not week one — and the repeatable architecture that stops the bleed.
Let's Connect
If your AI strategy doesn't include an identity layer, you're not governing AI — you're gambling on it. That's the conversation I want to have.
